Chris currently lives + works in St. Louis, Missouri. As both an artist + a professional digital designer, he works in an ever-changing environment where the lines of traditional + commercial forms of expression have been blurred through processes where one can equally employ technical + artistic methods. Chris often uses technology as a means to appropriate, re-assemble + then distribute ideas across various media.

He believes a majority of his work arises from critical reflection mixed with the freeplay common to dreams, derangement, stream of consciousness, altered states + the suspension of the everyday. All compositions begin with a chance meeting of photos, found images, words or design aesthetics, which eventually form residual centers. Things progress from these origins with no notion of an endpoint – oftentimes with the origin itself being erased, rewritten or completely removed.
